WE BUILD SUCCESS VERS LA RÉUSSITE

Bridge's Week at a Glance, April 20-24

Week at a Glance: April 20th 24th, 2020
Hello and best wishes from all of us at Bridge. We miss you a great deal but are comforted knowing that everyone is doing their part to keep one another safe, and knowing that our students and families are trying their best to “learn at home”. We have been so impressed with the work our students have completed and the assignments that have been submitted or posted on the portal. We thank Bridge parents for supporting your children with their learning under very trying circumstances, and for your patience as we try to develop new strategies and as we learn to use new technologies to help bring meaningful learning opportunities and experiences to your home.

1. District Video Message to All Richmond Students and their families: We are very excited to share with you a video message from our district. It was posted last week to our District website as well as on social media in order to send a positive message to students and families in our community. Here is a link to it on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RichmondSD38/videos/1617644635078194/

2. Social Emotional Learning Newsletters: Please find attached two newsletters that may be useful to support the social emotional learning for families at home.

3. New Zoom Video-Conferencing Software To Be Launched This Week: We are pleased to announce that the much anticipated Provincially approved update to the Zoom video-conferencing app is now ready for Richmond teachers to use to connect with their students on-line. We are very excited about the chance to see our students’ smiles, and for them to connect with their classmates under the direction of our teachers and Educational Assistants through the use of Zoom. Tomorrow, all Bridge families will receive an email explaining how to setup the software program for safe and effective use.
