Bridge School library is participating in a year-long study group with a focus on working to unpack fundamental concepts of positionality, racism, diversity and privilege. As part of the work, our librarian, Mrs. Sugiarto will be auditing our fiction collection to see how it meets diversity markers related to gender, ability, race and class. Our Teacher-Librarian, Mrs. Sugiarto presented information to our staff and to our PAC about the Diversity Audit taking place in our Library Learning Commons this year.  Both groups were very excited to learn about the results and take action to diversify our collection. At the end of the year, our PAC presented the school with gift cards to purchase books on behalf of all of the teachers and staff leaving Bridge.
