There is so much diversity here at Bridge and our students wanted to recognize all the cultures present in our school community on Culture Day!  Led by the Student Voice Representatives but motivated by the voices of our Bridge students, we had a Spirit Day when students and staff were invited to wear clothing of their own culture, colours of the flags that their families identify with, and/or bring an artifact that represents their culture to share with their classes.  

As a whole school, we started our day with a celebration.  There was a school wide art project, skit, video of our students and community, and sharing time with staff and students.  We gave space and recognized that everyone has an identity.  Strong connections were made with one another.  A great (but busy) day was had by all!
