Our staff Kindness Committee is working closely with our school counsellor, Ms. Flores, to update and introduce students to the Building Bridges of Kindness school-wide language we are currently developing together. 

At two of our recent Pro-D days, we spent part of the day working together to develop guidelines for ways that students, staff and the community can show kindness to self, others and place, la gentillesse à soi-même, les autres et l'environnement. 

During the month of February, students will be invited to incorporate these ideas into an art project with the hope of creating a student and staff generated official school visual.

Other ways that we will be teaching students and our community about the Bridges of Kindness language include: during our morning announcements, at assemblies, in our weekly newsletter, during Family Team activities, in our everyday classroom lessons and throughout the school (gym, library, music class, hallways, washrooms, playgrounds, etc.)

We can't wait to share some of the art work that students create.
